Worst fight scene ever

The nerd pumpkin legacy continues! This year with Kirk vs Gorn, from what is claimed to be the worst fight scene ever.

I love carving pumpkins!

Knitting it up!

Today is full of win.

Finished my hat yesterday (woot!) - er this morning... Insomnia FTW?

I can has knitted goods.

And today I picked up the Utango shirts. So surreal that people want to wear something that I drew! By the way, Twin Citians should totally go to Contemp8 Tshirts for some wonderful Eco-friendly screen printing.

Even as a pumpkin, he still manages to photobomb me.

Corn Maize!

I'm pretty sure this is the last nice weekend we will have. The news the other day was talking about it snowing in the next few days. As much as I like winter, I do love fall.

So I took advantage of this lovely weather and did every fall activity I could fit in.

First we picked pumpkins. Then picked apples. Then we wandered through a corn maze. Then went on a haunted hay ride. Also did some thrifting, skipped rocks at the lake, ate Swedish donuts and oogled at overly priced yarn.

Home made mittens!

I just finished making my mittens. These are my first set of ever making mittens and doing fair isle as well.

Talk about perfect timing, just in time when the cold came!

Look what I made!

And they are convertible too! So I can have use of my fingers without having to remove my mitten!

Though eventually, I do want to make some gloves that can work on a touch screen.

This sign reminded me where I was. Just in case I forgot.

On a somewhat related note, GSA went well. This is from the field trip I went on.

MPLS

I love where I live.

MPLS
The downtown skyline still amazes me -- and I have been living here for 2 years and 10 months.
